For years we have been reading and hearing that print is dead. While some sectors of print, specifically newspaper, have suffered greatly, to paraphrase Mark Twain’s famous quote, “The news of its death is greatly exaggerated”! Print is still practical. In many cases, very practical!

While websites, social media, blogs, digital newsletters, email campaigns, online advertising, and more have taken a big bite out of the print industry, print still has its place.

Yes, other media have their place and, in many cases, can do a better job and be more cost-effective than print. However, there are areas where print is worth the cost of the ink, paper, and everything else that goes into it.

When is the last time you received a handwritten thank you note in the mail? If you have, the impact it had was far more positive than receiving a similar thank you note via a text or email, right?

If your business is relying on the “easy way” of doing everything in the digital space, consider going the extra mile and adding some print in or back into your marketing mix.
