If you are old enough, you may recall the popular words and sounds of Rod Serling as he opened up each episode of his popular 1960’s television series, The Twilight Zone.

“You are about to enter another dimension; a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land of imagination. Next stop, the Twilight Zone!”

If you are not familiar with it, click here to hear the intro. It’s an entertaining American classic!

As a business owner reopening your business, it may very much feel, sound, and look like you are reopening your business in another dimension!

While we are all hopeful that many things will be the same, in reality, many things will be different.  For at least the short-term, the rules have changed, the way customers, vendors, and employees act and respond will be different.  How you approach advertising and marketing should also be different, again, at least for the short-term.

The #1 thing customers will expect when they come into your place of business is to feel safe! Providing the necessary steps, products, and even signage suggesting what you are doing to keep them safe is vital.

Over the past 9 weeks, SoundADvice has hopefully provided you with many ideas and tips to help you through the COVID-19 crisis, and also to help you prepare for reopening!  As we return to business and get closer to “normal”, we will continue to provide what we hope is useful information.

From our entire staff at this radio station, we want to wish you the best of luck in the days and months ahead.  We are here to help you if and when you are ready.

If you missed any of the past issues of SoundADvice, including the two most recent issues that spoke directly to reopening your business, and would like a copy of the article or the helpful tips (Issue #594:  New Rules of Advertising – Post COVID-19, or Issue #593: 11 Tips to Prepare for Business – Post Coronavirus), please contact your media rep.
